European Biodiversity Genomics
To fully realise the potential of biodiversity genomics, Europe needs sustainable services and strong coordination across countries. Working closely with researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders, BGE+ will contribute to laying the foundations of a future European biodiversity genomics research infrastructure. For that purpose, the project will describe key components such as the needs of the community and the services and resources to support biodiversity genomics at scale.
BGE+ will also explore how existing European infrastructures can work together to provide long-term support for biodiversity genomics, and will deliver roadmaps to help guide future investments, collaborations, and infrastructures across Europe.
