Establishing the foundations for large scale production of biodiversity genomics data is one of BGE’s main goals.

BGE is generating a wealth of reference data from species collections and environmental samples obtained across Europe, including: DNA barcodes, metabarcoding diversity profiles, genome sequences, and genome variability data.
