Building shared capacity at the European level

Policy Related

Biodiversity genomics data are used to inform management interventions that address the causes biodiversity decline.

BGE is committed to translating and summarising our scientific findings and lessons learned for audiences in the biodiversity policy and management arenas. We emphasise the multiple applications of biodiversity genomics, the fundamental importance of building DNA barcode and genome sequence reference libraries to support these applications, and BGE’s overriding aim to accelerate our capacity to produce this data at scale across Europe.
